We have had many good questions and answers on ralphmaltby.com. From the comments we receive, we have helped a lot of golfers. The problem is that it is somewhat difficult for new and even old forum users to find an answer that may help them, or better yet, the answers in a particular subject area where they are currently most interested. I do get a number of questions over and over again and this new Q&A book may also help a forum user to get a faster answer. I have almost eliminated the tedious search by putting the best questions and answers in book form which is organized into 12 specific categories. The book is available here for you in an easy to use PDF format. Simply click on the book and find many answers to your questions. You can also print out a hard copy utilizing both sides of a sheet of paper getting 4 pages per sheet.

Every 6 months or sooner I plan to add a new addition to the original Q&A book. So, every so often, you will get a completely new reference Q&A book as a stand alone PDF file to look through for new information and up to date information.

    Mr Maltby , I have a problem, recently my clubs were stolen and they included the CER 701+ hybrid set of two a 14 degree and 18 degree I cannot play without these two specific clubs yet I have searched for weeks now everywhere Minnesota, N.C. , Canada, Europe, GolfWorks the only one’s I found were for a left handed player I need right. I have also written a letter to you about this can you please tell me how to get my hands on these two clubs again I would settle for just the heads. I really need them. Please help me in my quest…..Thank You

    Hi Ralph,

    I have Golf Shaft Bending Machine (serial number 0114057 ) from Golfworks Ralph Maltby Enterprises Ltd Newark, Ohio. It is the one that has two wheels for bending putter shafts. In a resent move I have misplaced the instructions on how to use it. Can you send me a copy of the instructions?

    bjpeanut7, you can try X-100, but I would not tip them. The X-100 can get very boardy if you cannot hit the ball in the middle of the club face every time, meaning that you will not feel solid hits on anything but perfect center hits.

    Your pro should be able to help you keep the ball down somewhat. Also, have you tried a slower spinning ball to see if it helps some?

    Hey Ralph,

    I’m using s300 dynamic gold shafts and the ball is ballooning on me when i really go at it. My local PGA professional has told me to get into the x100 and tip the shaft 1 inch. I’ve heard roomers also that tiger just tips his irons 1/4”. Should I try tipping an inch or 1/4” to help the ball from ballooning? My driver swing speed is around 115 mph. My 6 iron swing speed is 95 mph. What should I do?

    tigers eye (Gerry), can you confirm or tell me a little more about the gauge? Does it in fact have a label that says it is a “Golf Club Gauge”? Or, does it say Golf Club Scale or Golf Club Bending Machine. The Golf Club Gauge should have a lie Angle measuring device on it and a Hook/Slice angle indicator. I think what you have is an old Golf Club Gauge, which I can probably come up with an instruction booklet for it once we confirm what it is.

    Ralph, I am Gerry Smith and I volunteer at Akron General Hospital (Edwin Shaw Rehab Golf Course) in Akron, Ohio. Ron Tristano is the manager and golf professional. Recently a donation was made of a club measuring guage made by you. The serial number is #1833087. Can you give us any instructions or information on how to use this guage?
