Play Better Golf.
Two of my books have become official training manuals for the PGA.

My local Golf Galaxy has the 2nd Edition “Golf Club Fitting Plan” for sale for just under $17. Will that edition seem outdated when compared to the new edition coming later this year?

bassplayer7770, I am working on it as we speak. My realistic guess is September publication so I can haul it up and hand it out to the Golf Galaxy Retreat participants in upstate Minnesota where I get to do my talk every year to the store managers and many of our golf professionals.

I see that a new edition of the “Complete Golf Club Fitting Manual” is due in 2008. Is there an approximate date for release?

Bob, you want to get “The Complete Golf Club Fitting Manual”. This is one of the official PGA manuals and the other one is “Golf Club Design, Fitting, Alteration and Repair”. Good choice to someday soon attend a school.

Ralph,
I have put clubs together for years and am indeed ready to attend a course of yours. Until that time I need to read on fitting a player for clubs. Which book should I start out with? And which of your 2 books are training manuals for the PGA?

Xiaowong, yes, the MPF book on Putters is halfway finished and still needs additional research in a few areas. It should be out next year, hopefully early. Hybrids and Fairways may be next year also. Drivers is the tough one because the ball is teed and there are other factors.. I do have quite a bit of good current and historical data on drivers but this will still be a year or two. Thanks for your question.

Mr Maltby, are you planning to write anything on MPF-Drivers/Fairway Woods, MPF-Putters, and MPF-Hybrids?
