Attention All Golfers
Let us help you understand how golf clubs really work.
Your putting and wedge shots can be as much as 70% of all the strokes you take during a round.
Here is where you can really shave some strokes off your 18 hole score. Let our trained experts at Golf Galaxy take a scientific look at your putting and wedge play.
We start by determining if your short game equipment is correctly fitted to you and your game using the Maltby Dynamic Putter Fitting Method and the Maltby Wedge Playability Guide. It’s easy, very enlightening and educational as we take you through the steps to a better short game. Here is what we can do for you:
- Properly fit your current putter and wedges
- Recommend the latest technology in new equipment and let you try it out in the store
- Provide short game lessons with our highly trained PGA staff
- Provide our free “Wedge Score Card” that you fill out during the next round or rounds
Simply see our PGA professional and ask for a few copies or you can download a copy from this website. We will even analyze the results for you or you can do it with the easy instructions on the back of the score card.
Maltby Dynamic Putter Fitting
Located on our indoor putting surface, the Dynamic Putter Fitting unit can make you a better putter immediately. We can fit you into a new putter or fit your current putter to play better. We use the five important putter fitting variables (Length, Loft, Lie, Swingweight and Head Design) to make sure the putter will contact and roll the ball properly.

You can find my Dynamic Putter Fitting System in any Golf Galaxy retail store.
We will explain the latest in putter technology so you stay ahead of the game. If we recommend a putting lesson with our PGA professional, it will usually be a result from the fitting procedure which you will plainly see and we will explain it to you.
Maltby Wedge Playability Guide
This in-store display will actually show you how and why a wedge works the way it does. We can also show you how to eliminate many of the bad wedge shots that plague many golfers. It is also a fact that the lengths of many golfers wedges do not fit properly with their set of irons.

We will show you a simple way to check wedge length and some of your other wedge specifications when you get home. Do you have different grip styles or grip sizes on your wedges versus the grips on your irons? Many golfers do and this can cause problems.
Bottom Line
Our job is to eliminate any bad variables in your equipment that can affect your scoring ability. Our job is to help you play better by offering lessons from our PGA staff. Our job is to go beyond the equipment companies advertising and explain and educate you about the latest technology in golf equipment that really works.
