Jack Butler, now I understand. When I get back next week I will do as you asked and get MOI readings with both weighting set-ups. It will be a good experiment.

Ralph,
I think you misunderstood my question. What I want to know is what is the MOI of a KE4 5-iron clubhead with two 2-gram aluminum screws installed versus the same clubhead maxed out with two 8-gram screws. Is it a significant difference in your opinion? I’m assuming the MOI listed in the catolog (12.5633 oz/in2) is for the stock weighting using two 4-gram screws. BTW, I have a set of KE4 Tour irons w TT Lite XL shafts (R-flex) and think they are great. Thanks.

Jack Butler, the two screw KE4 is 12.5633 oz/in2 on a #5 iron and the single screw KE4 SS1 is 12.348 oz/in2.
I still need to answer your “Tip Taper” shaft question, but put it off because it may take a fairly long answer. It is actually quite interesting however. Bug me if you don’t get it soon as I am traveling and waiting to answer it when I get home.
