Ralph, thank you for the warning and advice regarding swingweights. Looking at the KE4 U30 head & the IROD iron graphite shaft (R flex), with a 36” length 8 iron for example, with a standard grip with +4 wraps lower hand and +2 wraps upper hand—which heel and toe weights would you recommend?

moepelz, The UST Irod is a good iron shaft for the money. It will work well with the Tricept C2 with the caveat that the swingweights will come out on the light side and you will need lead tape to get them up to a D-0 minimum. Have you considered the KE4 with the adjustable weights? This iron is ideal when going to lighter graphite shafts that require heavier head weights. Note that I am not a fan of increasing the club lengths 1/2” on graphite shafts just to make swingweight. You should play the correct length and adjust the head weight.

I’m a 3B3H/3B3M and age 55. I’ve been playing the GliderS irons with FST 90 shaft for a couple of years. I would like to transition from these super game improvement irons to a game improvement set like the Tricept C2. Also this may be the right time to transition to a graphite shaft. Ralph, and others, what advice do you have for the combination of the Tricept C2 and the new IROD Iron graphite shafts?
