I was given a high end shaft that was professionally pulled from a fairway wood. In a non-bore thru it will play at 43”. I would like to put it in a driver head that I have that is also non-bore thru. I would like to extend it 1.5” for a finished length of 44.5”. It is my understanding that I will be increasing the swingweight by 12 and was wondering if I should conterbalance this with similar weight in the shaft tip.
